Anyone using Non-OEM Spark Plugs?

Just checking the price of OEM Spark plugs
Trailing: 34.56
Leading: 40.68

NGK Platinum Plugs
Trailing: 14.99
Leading: 11.99

BIG DIFF IN PRICE!!!
I'm not looking to mod my car, but if they will work just as good as OEM then Im happy!

Anyone comment on whether I should by them or go with OEM

Thanks

The Platinum plugs u mention are for Rx-7. You can use RX-7 Plugs, but since the length of the plug are different (one shorter than the other), u will need to use some spacer. another thing about Rx-7 plug is that they last 1/2 as long.

You can get a Set of OEM plugs for around 85 bux @ sparkplugs.com (including shipping)

Or you can get Rx-7 plugs with spacer from places like Mazsport.

there are three members that have tried Denso.

I believe two of them are still using them.

However they don't post the results. Since they are still using them they work.

I know in motorcycles they give you more performance.

I'm using the NGK rx-7 plugs from the mazsport site, they're working fine

Just make sure not to mix up your plugs when installing

I've been running them for a couple years now.
I'm now starting to question if my plugs are going bad.
I'm going to fork out the ~$80 to get the "correct" plugs and see if the feel of my car changes.
My "butt-dyno" tells me that the car isn't performing as smoothly as it did in the past when I accelerate.
Of course there are numerous things that can contribute to this, but the plugs are probably the cheapest place to start.

My scenario might not be typical, but I replace my plugs at least twice a year.

it will die out sooner than the stock plugs.

The stock plugs cost more for a reason, u know

man, couple months ago I found someone selling OE plugs on ebay for like 8 bux a pop. I got 8 for myself. I should've just got all of them so you guys can get it for the same price that I did (just pay me same cost + shipping)

oh well

Sorry!
The ones I priced at the beginning of this post are off the Mazsport site.
The ones I ended up buying and giving to the dealer to instal are from sparkplugs.com

I thought they were the same NGK plug.

For less expensive leading plugs, order part no N3Z4-18-110,the price is about $25.00 and the part inside the package is an NGK RE7C-L just like the part no you pay $40 for.
