Just curious in some of the Canzoomer packages it lists "random high flow cat"? Has anyone ordered this kit from CZ and if so, how's the quality? I am mostly interested in how it compares to the RP Supercat. Also, how loud is it?

 

It is a Random Tech high flow CAT 5" with bungs for WBO2 and pyrometer, and a resonator/midpipe. Quality is very good. Good heavy duty flanges. Fits great....and it is LOUD! :D

 

So basically it's a direct bolt on (i.e. the O2 sensor will fit right in?). Have you had any issues with yours? Also, when you say "loud", how does it compare to the sound clips that someone else posted here of the RP supercat?

 

Nemesis8 has a RP highflow CAT. Mine is louder by a bit.....and much larger in diameter.

O2 sensor bolts on ...in a more protected position than stock.

 

I have the random tech from cz, it work well with complete bolt on.. no prob in using 02 sensor. W/o cat back it louder than stock abit. but not too much

 

I also have the Random Tech cat w/resonator. Mine is not loud at all with stock muffler. In fact my wife didn't even notice the difference. However, it has a slightly deeper more agressive note than stock.

 

Thanks for the answers guys. One more question - does the kit that comes with CZ (Midpipe-4 package... random tech cat + midpipe) come with the appropriate hangers? I have read the issue with the RP supercat is that it doesn't have a hanger where there is one for the stock.

I also have the greddy sp2 catback and the racing beat revi so i hope i ll see some good gains...And i also hope my car be louuuuuuuuuuuuuuder!!! :D :D :D In a good way off course :D

random tech have the stock style hanger if I am not wrong.. I install mine like 8 months ago

 

I would agree with the loudness level. I have the Racing Beat muffler with the Random Tech cat and resonator. It is a bit more agressive sounding, but very nice.

 

I have the Random/CZ MidP-4 and a Borla, and it is a LOT louder than just the Borla. Good gains tho (around 10-15 WHP based on a GTech measurement) and bolts right in. Really good quality unit too.

 

As far as i know,midp-4 contains a resonator right??
I can't wait to hear the match with greddy sp2!!!

Well I just recieved my midp-4 and all i can say is WOW!!!!!

Excellent quality,excellent finish,and much promising part...I see the whp coming!!! :D

The sound is AWESOME....All the people are braking their necks to see what is crossing them!!Beautifull and not rice at all imo...

The car,revs quicker and seems to have gained some mid-up hp and tq....Great...
The kms raise faster than before...
Excellent Choice withous a single problme so far with 600km in it!

Now the only thing left to complete the short na puzzle beofre i go na is the rb ramair!!I can't wait...

 

Hows the sound inside the cabin windows up at say 70-75 MPH? I don't want to add too many DBs to the cabin noise if possible...don't want to ruin my stereo's performance when and if I get it done.

 

If you go with 75 all the time,the noise is not big but if you stepping to it to add more mph the dbs are more and more and more...!!!

All the older people see the car and go wow and i bet they are using dirty language if you know what i mean..But the sound doesn't bother me at all..Me and all the under 40 or something people,seem to looooooooooove it and as far as i am not illegal at all,i don't care whatever anyone say...
