[QUOTE=autohaus_street arsenal;3429664]HAS ANYONE HERE OWNED A "Z"??
A FEW OF MY HOMEBOYS HAVE EM' AND THEY SAID THEY RATHER DRIVE an "8"
because it HANDLES BETTER... IN THERE OPINION... HELL MY STOCK RX8 feels smother THAN MY EVO WITH HKS HIPERMAX COILOVERS??

AND ON PERFORMANCE, THE BOYS OUT HERE WITH "8's" DO JUST FINE AGAINST 350/370's??

I had two "8" an 2 "Zs".

That said, going back to the original thread question: Buy a 370 if you want to beat a 350!!!

Straight roads aren't for rx8s...

the only way to beat the 350z (stock) is ( highway ) in between cars, ( watch out for cops ) NOT straight line the 350z is not a great car for fast turnings, i'm not a pro but handled the situation in more than one ocasion with diferent 350z.... and no I'm NOT TURBO, NITROUS, SC or anything like that, plain stock of course...

I don't know why you are setting your sights so high. I just beat a moped off the line. I'm stoked.

sometimes I do wish the reni came with more power out of the box, but it sure does teach you how to drive and use every inch of power you have to your best advantage. It's hella fun to drive once you realize that it's not for staight lines, but wheres the fun in just going in a straight line! No...you never beat a Z in a staight line stock for stock...sorry....deal with it and get over it.

I passed a 09' Corvette Grand Sport today ( In my new WB 6MT!!! ), as we both pulled up at the stop light and he said that his car was a little faster in the straights (lol) but the 8 handles just as well that put a smile on my face. a compliment from a vette driver

If it's any consolation, I terrorize 350Z's every chance I get. Believe me, they get their pride hurt just as much as everybody else... maybe more so, because the drivers of 350Z's have the reputations of being douche bags.

Maybe it's just because I live in Canada..

I've never met a douche-baggy sports car driver.

I think it's the fact that they cost $50-60K here. Mostly older people, or mature people..

No kidding... well, not around here. Endless supply to douch bag sports car drivers down here. Now, there are some of the finest enthusiasts also here, but the 350Z seems to attract a much higher percentage of punk asses.
