I am desperatly looking for a website where I canbuy the 09 fuel pump.

As my fuel filter is more then dirty...the quickest way is to change the pump and I really want to upgrade mine to the 09' model

Nope, take a look at Swoope's thread about modding the 09 pump to fit earlier models.

You are the pioneer in the 09 fuel pump land. We are all grateful to your guinea pigness (Research). Now the folks need to know who to get this jewel from.

Paul.

I did the 09 pump install with OD's many help. Here's my additional help:

I used a nylon/plastic trim removal tool (Harbor Freight) and a heavy-weighted hammer (Home Depot-return afterwards) to pound the retaining nut out.
Move the driver's seat forward (electric) before you cut the power to the car. I was too lazy to reconnect the battery and good thing I'm small.
The submersible tubing must be SAE 30 R10 grade (important). They're not cheap. You buy it by the foot, but only need to use about 3-4in or so. You'll also need two clamps (worm geared type).
The electrical connector that needs to be moded is the one inside the fuel tank that connects to the fuel pump. Remove it and replace it with the one from the old pump. Trim off the locking tab per OD. Note the colors/slot of the wire's location.

Thanks Parmer and glad it has worked out for you.
I have been on track with this unit and NO STARVATION issues down to 4 dashs from empty!! I have never --ever been able to do that before.
I would advise everyone to call Paul and put their orders in.
