With $500, What Should I Mod?

My wife just told me last night I've got $500 to mod the 8 for Vamlumtimes day.... So, I'm trying to figure out what I want to get. I'll probably ask for the BHR ignition for our anniversary, so I'll wait on that.

Things I want to get:
Axial Flow short shifter
Sohn adapter
Midpipe
Accessport

I was thinking the short shifter was cheaper than $250, so I was thinking I'd do everything but the access port. Looks like that won't happen though.

So, what do you guys think? I was pretty keen on doing the Sohn...

Short shifter and Sohn. Midpipe is cheap you can buy that on your own. By the way this is BS, I don't get **** for valentines day. Maybe a card if I'm lucky.

Sway Bars, You can also make some $$ back selling the OEM's to a Miata owner.

I'd save sways for some future date unless you plan on tracking your car in the very near future.

Yeah, considering that would put me pretty much right at $500.... I'll wait for those. The car already handles pretty well for stock, and I'm not unhappy with it.

agree... I would mod a savings account... and continue to mod it every time you have an urge to mod your car.

I would say the axial flow SS. One of my favorite mods to date. Then you'll have money left over to save for whatever you want to mod next.

Whoever said that modding cars was smart?? Hahahahah

So I made my list. Sohn adapter, Agency Power midpipe, carbon fiber strakes (flamesuit on!), clear or blue corners, and the front and back rotary accents for the bumpers.

Not too bad for about $500!

It's definitely on my list. I've heard very good things about it.

Go with the clear corners. I think they look a whole lot better than the colored ones. Not just because the quality looks better, I think that clear corners add to the look of the car more than colored ones...

Looks like a good list to me. Except I wouldn't go with the CF strakes haha... If you want something to add a little bit of exterior look get a Lebren light instead! Those things look awesome.
