Actually, now that I look over my calendar. I can say for sure that I will not be making it.

- Sep 2-4 - SuperBikes at Road Atlanta
- Sep 4 - Auto Cross at AMS
- Sep 24-25 - Roebling Road - Savannah
- Sep 28-Oct 1 - Petit Le Mans

That's too many events for one month. I would have to attend a meeting with my wife and attorney if I did all of these. So I'm choosing the two big ones... SuperBikes and Petit Le Mans.

The red roof Inn is where folks stayed last time. NASA rate: $59.00 per night.

I just registered too. What did you do about the discount? It still came up as $299 for me. I wrote it in the note that I volunteered though.

Used my credits for working towards registration fees. No charge. I called Julie last week asking her to register me. She called today saying I was in.

OK. I had sent Julie an email anyway. I'll hopefully hear back from her about it.

Oh yeah, I got the recall done today. They checked and there was no damage. Got the updated flash too, but it's too early to tell what it's doing. Went from N to R. The owner of the dealership and I talked for a while today also and he's very interested in getting together with the RX-8 community around here. I told him of our club, but not too much about our club. He's going to be a MS dealer and would also like to work with us for group stuff. I'm thinking the '05 keyfob would be a great add to my car! Anyway, he told me that he talked to the Regional rep about the MS RX-8 coming out in a couple of years. The Rep talked about a turbo, but they are still doing a lot of research with it. OK, don't flame me about all the he said she said stuff, I'm just conveying information that I heard from a source. Notice I didn't say reliable because I just met the guy today. Anyway, just passing it along. Let me know if you all are interested in anything, he can beat Rosenthal's prices.

hey lego,

let me know how that works if he can beat prices on MS gear, I am looking into a rear strut brace.

And a little off topic, let me know when the next Albany area auto-x is, I might try to come down to Albany for the weekend for it, It would be fun to get more than 3-4 runs. And see a different competition group. Is there a website listing the dates?

This Sunday at the Cordelel Motor Speedway. Exit 104 on I-75. About 30 minutes from Albany. We use the infield. It's a good course, usually get at least 6 runs. Our biggest competition will be an 89 Skyline GTR. Hell of a car. That or a '94 RX-7. They are usually the 1st Sun of each month.
