Several of us have camera mounts for our cars. I can show you how I have mine if you want. Bolts to the deck when the rear center seat truck access is removed.

Hey Lego, Nabil has the same type mount, and I have seen it. The one thing i want to do different, is raise the camera height. It is hard to see the road from his camera's point of view. I am going to work on it tonight, and hopefully have it ready by autocross this weekend to try it out. I am trying to figure out how to reduce vibration, because with the suciton mount, i set it up so that the arm rests on the seat back, and eliminates almost all of the vibration. We will see what i can come up with.

on the menu.....

Friday night is is grilled braut night with the fixins. Even if you don't stay at the track with us you are more than welcome to come by for grub and stuff. Gates are open til 10:00.

Saturday night after the awards ceremony and INFAMOUS Raffle (don't fill up on too much pizza) I have procured 10lbs of BBQ and my very own homegrown sauce.

I'm not a big beer drinker so if that's your thing, it's BYOBeer. I have a huge cooler and will have ice.

Of course the blender will be going both nights......

more to come.....

ahh hell, now i need to come up with a reason to stay on Friday night too. hmmm... tech for HPDE is Friday afternoon...I can develope that one.

Did some owrk on the camera mount today. It is a hybrid of Nabil's and lego's. It uses the 3/4" square aluminum tubing mounted to the rear deck, but I disassembled my suction mount, and have attached the extended arm with camera mount to the tubing. Should work. I will find out tomorrow.

Let me know what I can bring please. I'll have a couple 12 packs at least of Mt. Dew and Pepsi to cool down at the track. What else you need. How about a couple yummy pecan pies???

Pies are good. Bring what ever you want to drink other than Scotch and garitas...
I will also have sandwich stuff and bottled water. NASA supplies bottled water as well to the crew.

List of things we'll still need...

*Buns - for brauts and BBQ
*Slaw
* Anything you can think of for breakfast (i'll have pop tarts and cooked sausage)
*snacks (chips, dips, etc)

I have cups, plates, etc.....

We have a refrig, oven, stove, grill, and microwave (okay, so it's not really camping......)

For those sleeping over....I have pillows, but if you want to bring your favorite, I understand. I have blankets and such also. We'll have to use the showers at the track (there is no water connection at the sites) so bring your rubber ducky and stuff if you so please. I have soap and shampoo.

Things should start showing up this next week. In the event you don't get the stuff, they will have it at the event and they will post some stuff on their website.

Another question,

what about rain? Do they cancel everything if it rains, or is it play on, but in the wet?

Just a few days now, I can't wait.

Looks like I will be there Friday too. I call sleeping on the sofa or the table.
I am looking forward to it, I am giddy already. Autocrossing this weekend quelled it a little.

And I do not snore. Most of the time.

If it is raining, keep DCS on!!! Turn 10 is great with it!
