Do it. I have an extra as well if needed although it is a M helmet.

NASA has basically told everyone with an M rated helmet to upgrade. It might sneak thru - but at tech sessions for DE this year they are ONLY checking helmets and brake lights. Everything else is your own responsibility. So helmets are obviously a priority.

Snell SA 2005 or Snell SA 2000 is all they list as acceptable. The 2000's will (per rules) be out in a couple years.
That is the technical answer to what they want.

I have an extra open face GForce Sa2005 (XL) I will bring. I use a Pyrotect full face usually.

Will PM you

A bunch of people ran M helmets last year, and it might get by. As I PM'd, I will bring the extra just in case.
I am forgetful, so remind me!

No coupon pants here

Newbness shows as I don't even know what they are.

OD, that adapter would be for me...I was like, hey, he is giving it to someone else...I started to feel bad...then I realized you forgot your meds over the weekend, or took too many.

yeah, the helmet thing, last year, they told me to show up this year with an SA2005 helmet, and I did. I did not want to mess with getting told my helmet would not pass tech. And while I like Discovery Parts being at all the events, I don't want to get stuck selecting from their options, most of which are twice as much as my new one.

Coupon pants, meh, I have my ghetto style ones, do they count.

how much longer...gonna start getting antsy soon...

The percentages don't look good friends. Mine was at the 58,000 range and just barely in warranty. I love my car but if I were phlash, I'd feel the same way he does. I'd be looking for something else.

The part that really sucks is that I have gone out of my way to make sure I go above and beyond taking the extra little steps to make the motor happy......just to get **** on by it.......
