L8, glad you will make it out.

OD, so, what's up with the "S". I've heard from several that it is causing idle problems. I'm not having an isssue.

L8 - dude sorry to hear about the stone. I hope you pass that really soon and are back to feeling OK.
I had the S flash done last weeek too and my idle went to ****. It idles lower and therefore I have a vibration. Maybe it will get better... I am excited about the weeeknd like everyone else. I have to work Friday at least until noon and then have to go home, cut lawn, wash car and pack.

at this point, I am not sure what I will be doing at RA. If I am not feeling well, I may come hang out Friday night, and take pictures Saturday. I may not work the event anymore. I just don't want to get stuck out somewhere, and have any issues with this kidney stone crap. That would put NASA out too, and I don't want that to happen. It really is getting old, I wish this stone would just go away.

So either way, I will be there, at least for Friday night and Saturday, but in what respect, I am still not sure.
OK Phlash. I see all this food listed and I definitely want to bring something. What is there that we need that isn't already listed? A suggestion would be helpful. No need to duplicate things or bring something that won't get eaten. Thanks!

Woohoo!!......one more day......

The "Chateau Zoom" tenant list...

Daily Reminder:

I'm bringing the Chateau, Brats, Knockworst, five or six pounds of *** (with sauce), and a gallon or two of ready made rita's (along with a GIANT bottle of Tylenol, just in case). I have some blankets and pillows. I'll have the giant cooler full of ice and I have a grill. I'll have a bottle of ear plugs as well. Everyone will have their own bed. There is no water hookup at the track, but we will have a porti-unit near us.

Needed Supply list:

*If you have a favorite pillow, teddy bear, or blankie, bring it.
*Bring lots and lots of water. It's gonna be warm and you'll need it for brushing your teeth and such.
*There are showers near the tower, bring what you need for that.
*Condiments
*Paper plates, napkins, and utensils (I have some but depending on how many show each night, I my run out).
*Buns (for the brats and ***)
*Chips, snacks, baked beans (we have a stove)and/or anything else to go with the brats and ***, as well as munch on.
*Breakfast stuff (donuts, cereal, pastries, sausage biscuit's, easy stuff)
*Sandwich stuff (meats, bread, etc) if we choose to eat lunch at the lodge.
*BYOB - beer, scotch, bourbon, soft-drinks, etc.......
*I only have three or four chairs, so you may want to bring one as well.

For those of you not staying, you are welcome to join us each day after the track activities. I think we've invited the world...they may not all show, but they were invited. The gates close at 9 or 10 and open at 6:30 or 7:00 (I think). Those of you staying, the best bet is after your last event, shower and head on up the hill. The showers are full in the am so plan accordingly.

The plan (we all know how that goes) is for me to head out with the lodge and be at the track late morning/early afternoon. Not that I'll be able to set up yet, but at least try to not have to deal with the traffic from hell at early rush hour. If Jim manages to talk the track folks into letting us in a little sooner, I'll head up the hill and start getting set up.

Almost time!!!!

**KurtBob....looks like we need, mayo, maybe ketchup, relish, and a couple big cans of Baked Beans.

No, you won't have clear track. More than likely, that annoying NSX that always takes turns slowly and forms trains behind it will be at RA this weekend in HPDE2.

and clear track at RA with NASA is a thing of the past. In March, there were 40+ cars in DE 2. You got to learn traffic negotiation, and things like that. But hey, any time on track, is better than no time on track. The secret was to be one of the first cars out on track each session. Arrange it with your instructor, you might catch up to slower cars by the end of the session, but being out front is the best way to go when there are that many people in your group.

Car's ready to go... even have the nose mask on. Now all I have to do is work till 5:00 PM, stop by the house to pick up a couple essentials and I'll be headed to the track. I should be there by 7:00 PM at the latest. Should I plan to eat with you guys by that time or should I eat before I come. I look forward to seeing everyone.

OD, no way for me to get the generator over to the track, sorry!

well it was a good thought anyway. I will survive.
My pads are on and squeling like a banshee--got the S flash and the idle has settled---got the new 3nd gen plugs in--gauges are working fine--lawnmower battery in(saves 25Lbs), car packing organized , by the way how much weight do you save by removing the back seats?, cooking hamburgers in the am--- etc, etc i will be at the track bewtween four and five with a big grin and ready to go.
It will be good to see all--be a little differant not going to charlies this time.

about 12 lbs each was right, I think it was 25 lbs between the two of them being out.

Well, I am ready for the weekend. Just have to get through the day now, could be tough. My plan is to leave work around 3, pick up the EZ-UP, and a few other essentials, all the food and beverages I am bringing, and then head up to RA. Phlash, give me a call on my cell phone, and let me know what time you think you will be there, I will try to be there around the same time.

woohoo!

Levent - call me and we will go up together after you get out of your meeting. If you don't mind swinging by my house on the way up, as it is on the way to Atlanta.

I had the worst time last night trying to fly home- but I am almost ready to go now.

See you all soon.
