I have three but TA is in need of one and I may have to get one to him for CMP. I will know Monday. So, I may have two...but yes they have a couple more events in them...

Scratch that, we are leaving out on the 10th of August for our vacation to St. Augustine. I thought it was the following weeked which would allow us to go to RA, but I was mistaken. I'm just glad I didn't pull the trigger and pay for the NASA event.

LOL. That's funny. It tickles me because we talk about getting 17 inch wheels and better gearing for faster accelleration and STF talks about getting 18" wheels to let him go faster because he's topping out the car and hitting the rev limiter on the back straight. Holy Speedy Evo Batman!!!

I will have to take sunshades to put on my tires and buy one of those hats with the built in solar fans----but dammitt i have to have some track!
and really wanted to do RA one more time this year.
Think they will let me sign up for 3?
Who will be running what? 3 passing zones here makes HPDE 2 a lot of fun--if that is where the crowd is I may just go for that.

I was under the impression that you have to get signed off to move from HPDE 2 to HPDE 3. But email Julie Pantas and ask. That would be the best way to get your answer. I am working the event, so only spectating for me. But I think that if you signed up in 2, you will have plenty of rotary powered company.

You can experience 1st hand my swearing as I come through 12 I have had many instructors that have signed me off on saturdays, asked me about going to 3 but i told them i was having too much fun in 2. I like being with the crowd. But since others are moving up then i would not be so lonely

Guys, I can't wait to get down for this event. I am going to be on full slicks, and hopefully, will have the turbo kit on. If I have the turbo kit, then I am shooting for 35's, but without it I will be looking for any time under 1:40's.

 

Well I have signed up too. I thought about going to Mid-Ohio to do a NASA event on the same weekend with a friend of mine ... but then decided that it was too far and that I would miss you Rotorheads. I signed up for HPDE 3.

Is anyone staying in a hotel? I haven't gotten a reservation yet.

 

Silver and all-- if we can get the area by the trees it will be better. On a hot day our cars setting in those asphalt pits will have tire surface temps over 150F and that is not good. If we have the shade it will be ok
