Wow - I have heard that kidey stones are probably more painful than child birth. Can't they break up the stone with sound waves or medication?

Hope you feel better before Friday!

kidney stones can be VERY painful. Seen many a grown man cry. Pray to God you never get one. Differant tx's for differant stones as they can be made of differant substances. Wish you well my friend--once it comes out you may be surprised how small it is. Something so small can hurt so dang bad. Like peeing razorblades.

Anyway I am going to bring 15 pre cooked hamburgers, bread, ctsup, mustand, onions, some plates, some cups, some forks and knives. lots of water, my drinks, some pre made potaeto salad, bag of chips and one pickle.
Get the S flash tomorrow morning.
Lego the 2nd gen 1993 sparkplugs fir our car without any problems and do just as well. AND you have a little more choice on heat ranges. Pep boys have them for about $20-25.---cheap old men find these things out--

Woohoo!!......two more days......

The "Chateau Zoom" tenant list...

Daily Reminder:

I'm bringing the Chateau, Brats, Knockworst, five or six pounds of *** (with sauce), and a gallon or two of ready made rita's (along with a GIANT bottle of Tylenol, just in case). I have some blankets and pillows. I'll have the giant cooler full of ice and I have a grill. I'll have a bottle of ear plugs as well. Everyone will have their own bed. There is no water hookup at the track, but we will have a porti-unit near us.

Needed Supply list:

*If you have a favorite pillow, teddy bear, or blankie, bring it.
*Bring lots and lots of water. It's gonna be warm and you'll need it for brushing your teeth and such.
*There are showers near the tower, bring what you need for that.
*Condiments
*Paper plates, napkins, and utensils (I have some but depending on how many show each night, I my run out).
*Buns (for the brats and ***)
*Chips, snacks, baked beans (we have a stove)and/or anything else to go with the brats and ***, as well as munch on.
*Breakfast stuff (donuts, cereal, pastries, sausage biscuit's, easy stuff)
*Sandwich stuff (meats, bread, etc) if we choose to eat lunch at the lodge.
*BYOB - beer, scotch, bourbon, soft-drinks, etc.......
*I only have three or four chairs, so you may want to bring one as well.

For those of you not staying, you are welcome to join us each day after the track activities. I think we've invited the world...they may not all show, but they were invited. The gates close at 9 or 10 and open at 6:30 or 7:00 (I think). Those of you staying, the best bet is after your last event, shower and head on up the hill. The showers are full in the am so plan accordingly.

The plan (we all know how that goes) is for me to head out with the lodge and be at the track late morning/early afternoon. Not that I'll be able to set up yet, but at least try to not have to deal with the traffic from hell at early rush hour. If Jim manages to talk the track folks into letting us in a little sooner, I'll head up the hill and start getting set up.

Almost time!!!!

L8APEX-some potato chips, other snacks, donuts for breakfast, beer, sodas and water.

at this point, I am not sure what I will be doing at RA. If I am not feeling well, I may come hang out Friday night, and take pictures Saturday. I may not work the event anymore. I just don't want to get stuck out somewhere, and have any issues with this kidney stone crap. That would put NASA out too, and I don't want that to happen. It really is getting old, I wish this stone would just go away.

So either way, I will be there, at least for Friday night and Saturday, but in what respect, I am still not sure.

On Monday, I took my 8 in to Sutherlin to get the hardware replaced for my Sun Roof because of a rattling noise. Parts had been order and finally came in. I told them I MUST have the car back by Thursday. I called today and they could not give me a definite answer on having it by then. I told them I MUST have it Thursday end of day and I get... "We will call you when it is ready!" I'm freaking! If I don't have my car for this weekend, they will be causing me some serious mental anguish, frustration and money loss due to not being able to participate this weekend. I hope I'm just over reacting and all will be well.

Dont' sweat the dealership crap SilverEight. "We're working on it" means: We haven't touched your car yet and it's just sitting on the lot behind the service dept. until we get around to doing it.

Just go get the car and get the little didly fixed later..

Thanks TA-2. I just got back from the dealer. I was going to do precisely that. I was told they started at 9 this morning and the guy working on it had just finished up at 5:45. A few other things I requested were re-scheduled for tomorrow but I said it's fine... I'll take it now and bring her back next week. Seems Mazda has the project scheduled as a 2.9 hour job. Service laughed when they told me. Oh well, not my problem... it's warranty! They did give me the new Flash though. I can't tell any difference. After driving the rental Chevy POS (HHR) for 3 days, my car feels pretty strong & the idle does not really seem any different. Mine was already idling smooth at 7500 RPM.

Now... I'm out to rotate the tires, check the brakes, take the back seats out and install my camera mount. Whoooohoooo!

That's a hell of a high idle. Could it be a vacuum leak??? I know you meant 750.

well fellas, I have sent Julie an email, telling her that I can't work the weekend. The last thing I need, is to be standing at Pit Out, waving my arms around, and have this damn stone decide that it is time to move along some more. I need to have the ability to bail if I need it, so working is out. Sucks, since this weekend got me RR for free. I guess now I have to pay for it, or half of it anyway.

But I will be joining you guys, and I will take pictures, and lots of them. I can't say they will be as good as the ones you are used to from silver, but I can try.

And if I am feeling really froggy, I might even do touring laps on Saturday. But we will have to see about that.
