Never heard of a 355 Challange, I have heard and seen the 360 and 430 challenge race cars that Ferrari builds. Want to check this car out.

I am having a wonderful time right now changing brake pads and bleeding the brake fluid, oh the joys of tracking the car.

Wow---! 30 cars in hpde 3! Will be a crowded track(so to speak) and it looks like a lot of prepared cars will be present. Lets stay together for protection. We a gonna have to watch our butts.

I missed his name on the list - now I won't be so alone.

I really wasn't that worried about it - just playing.

Wow - you guys are really special - they did assign a place just for the 8's! Does this mean that I can only come over to get your autograph, or will still let other car people hang out with you?

We still need to get there early Friday to claim that space. I don't know if we want any non-RX8s defiling our space. Those Nissans sure are an eyesore as are those hideous Mustangs particularly in fire starting gold color. Maybe we can throw a tarp over them or something...

I uploaded a copy of the PANOZ training video for RA if anyone is interested. Don't want to make it public for download but if you will PM me I'll send you the address for download. It should be mandatory viewing for anyone driving RA. If you have not seen it, do yourself a favor and PM me. If you have see it, you may want a review.

Just finished my third pre-NASA session with Kevin. We went over the Panoz vid, couple of Big Pine Key vids took the car out for a drive and just talked about what to expect. The TA vid at the Rock with all the spins was good to show him that keeping your hands at 9 & 3 makes for a eaiser control. I think I've done all I can do without a track. Now, it's between him and his instructor. He tries to be so cool and not show any excitement but I can tell, he is getting pumped. Not me though, I'm not excited. No sir! Not at all.

Woohoo!!......four more days......

The "Chateau Zoom" tenant list...

Phlash
TrackAddict
Legokcen
KurtBob
L8APEX
TA2
OD

Daily Reminder:

I'm bringing the Chateau, Brats, Knockworst, five or six pounds of *** (with sauce), and a gallon or two of ready made rita's (along with a GIANT bottle of Tylenol, just in case). I have some blankets and pillows. I'll have the giant cooler full of ice and I have a grill. I'll have a bottle of ear plugs as well. Everyone will have their own bed. There is no water hookup at the track, but we will have a porti-unit near us.

Needed Supply list:

*If you have a favorite pillow, teddy bear, or blankie, bring it.
*Bring lots and lots of water. It's gonna be warm and you'll need it for brushing your teeth and such.
*There are showers near the tower, bring what you need for that.
*Condiments
*Paper plates, napkins, and utensils (I have some but depending on how many show each night, I my run out).
*Buns (for the brats and ***)
*Chips, snacks, baked beans (we have a stove)and/or anything else to go with the brats and ***, as well as munch on.
*Breakfast stuff (donuts, cereal, pastries, sausage biscuit's, easy stuff)
*Sandwich stuff (meats, bread, etc) if we choose to eat lunch at the lodge.
*BYOB - beer, scotch, bourbon, soft-drinks, etc.......
*I only have three or four chairs, so you may want to bring one as well.

For those of you not staying, you are welcome to join us each day after the track activities. I think we've invited the world...they may not all show, but they were invited. The gates close at 9 or 10 and open at 6:30 or 7:00 (I think). Those of you staying, the best bet is after your last event, shower and head on up the hill. The showers are full in the am so plan accordingly.

The plan (we all know how that goes) is for me to head out with the lodge and be at the track late morning/early afternoon. Not that I'll be able to set up yet, but at least try to not have to deal with the traffic from hell at early rush hour. If Jim manages to talk the track folks into letting us in a little sooner, I'll head up the hill and start getting set up.

Almost time!!!!

As the proud Pilot of the aformentionned Fire Breathing and Belching V8 powered Gold Stallion I say: Variety Baby, is the spice of life!

This time I think the brake "issues" have been exorcised.. New / Machined rotors, Fresh Hawk pads, and Fresh Motul RBF 600 fluid (done with TA's gracious help)should see to that.

I am pumped about going back to the "home" track

See y'all @ tech on Friday pm

keep your fingers crossed for me fellas. If I am not feeling better by Thursday, thanks to the kidney stones, I will not be joining you guys. I have spent the last 4 days in more pain than I have ever felt. So let's hope I either pass this nasty thing, or just start feeling better.

Kidney stones? Man that does sound painful. I hope they pass, best wishes for a prompt recovery. I need my "Windmill" sign language for pit-out!
