I just bought an '04 RX-8 and now need to sell my supercharged 10th Anniversary Edition...I can't believe I am going to have to do this to my baby...

Does anyone know of an RX-8 club in the NC area? I really enjoyed the counter-culture that the Miata brought along with it and the club here in the Raleigh area.

Yes there sure is . There is a Raleigh Rotary Drive-In at Char grill on strickland rd in raleigh every 2nd and 4th saturday of the month at 6:30pm. Its mostly the guys from the 7 club, but we are trying to increase the number of 8s that attend. We usually just eat, talk, and admire each others rides . We will probably cut back to once a month during the winter. There is one tomorrow, but most people aren't going to be there (including myself). There will be a topic about the one the 2nd saturday in december. Look forward to seeing you there.

I'd guess it's a Miata. He mentioned that later in his post.

But with my rotary background, I instantly thought "Supercharged 10th AE RX-7? NEAT!" Then I thought and read, and realized it's most likely a Miata 10th AE he's talking about.

Yeah, it is a Miata. Amazing how all of the guys I work with called it a "chick car" even with the supercharger and roll bar until I get ready to sell it. Now it is "Wow, what a nice looking car that is.." etc.

I can't wait to pick up my "8" this weekend. I am flying into Baltimore to pick it up and then drive it down here to Fayetteville, NC. I am now trying to find a grill protector for it but am having no luck in my searches. Any help?
