Hello. I'm in the panama city area and brand new to the forum. I've had my 08 40th anniversary rx8 sice about July and love it. I'd like to try and make it out to Pensacola this weekend and meet some local rx people but I'll have to see if the car is up to it since the clutch has been feeling terrible.

Looks like I will not make it to meet you all this weekend. Hopefully you'll be doing this again soon, and maybe a bit closer. I'd really like to meet some other local RX8 owners and see what they've done to their rides.

Show and shine Cookout.
We will have a cookout at Park Avenue condos, 450 Park Avenue Foley Alabama. Go to the back of the complex to the picnic pavilion. Plenty of parking back there. Bring your swimsuit if you want to take a dip in the pool. Dinner is $5 per person. There will be a show and shine with 1st,2nd, and 3rd place trophy. Lot's of door prizes, and $50 to the best bikini. Lots of rotary related fun in the sun.

Sounds like a good time! I'm livin out in the Gulf Breeze area. I probably see a lot of your cars frequently. Honk if you drive by. Always nice to meet another owner and discuss issues, installs, etc.

 

I'm in Gulf Breeze or driving through it from Hurlburt to Pcola about once a week. If you see a red R3 it'll probably be me since I haven't seen one other R3 in our area.

A blue R3 was for sale in at FWB Honda but apparently was sold and has been spotted by friends of mine going east on 98 in the mornings.

 

I drive an R3 here in PCola, and ive seen a couple others around too.

Cuz I think you live behind my parents' home in Quayside Village? I live in Pensacola but I stop by their place about every weekend. You've probably seen my 8 parked out front or in the side drive by the pool.

 

Hahaa you know whats funny dude, my friends were just saying how they always see my car parked out in front of a house at the entry in Quayside... but yeah man def me. I saw you out front of your house one day doin work on the car and your pops def waved to me the other day when I was comin home from work, prolly thought it was you. You've got good taste on that car! Haha it looks just like mine, except you got the interior I want. PM me dude, we'll meet up sometime... I dig the Axis wheels you got on it.

 

I think you rolled by when I was changing my oil a few weeks ago. Like I said I visit out there just about every weekend. I use their drive when I need to work on the car and I park my car there when I ride the yamaha dualsport. If you see me out, holler.
