Nope, looked at it, but I really wanted a GT. They had a Nordic Green GT on the Nissan lot in Fort Walton, not sure if it's still there, 90k miles, second engine, beat to ****, they were asking $13,900 for it, I laughed at them and left, stuff was literally falling off the car.

I ended up flying to Knoxville to look at one and drove it back, pretty sure it's one of the few, if not the only, Lightning Yellows around.

 

I see a yellow one every few weeks or so. I swear there was one for sale in FWB somewhere. I live near the Nissan dealer and saw that green one they had too. I could tell it was a piece from the street driving by. The VW dealer down the street seems to have one for sale on the used lot about once a month.

 

Actually, there was one on the VW dealership when I first started looking, and there were two in Pensacola, but all three were AT. I'm very happy with the one I got, great condition and every option I wanted.

On a different note, do you ever go to any of the meets around here, like the Swamp or the Navarre one?

well roflcopter, it was cool to run into you at the swamp. I got evidence of the only meet this year of RX8s I think. Its a sucky pic but we get the point. WIsh I coulda got that right-hand drive RX7 in there.

 

That 7 was a disgrace, no rotary...

And everyone on here, we should pick a meet and all show up to it. Me and Ben were talking about going to Bayfront one Saturday night, or we could all meet at the Navarre meet if it would be more central to everyone?

 

since i see theres actually i decent amount of owners here anybody the best place to take the 8 besides the dealer or if anyone works on them i could do alot myself but living on base kinda takes away that possibility, with no garage and all.

i gotta put a bumper on, change my oil cooler and do some stuff with that radio console in there

 

What base u at I'm at hurlburt field. And as far as a shop it depends on what u have to have done best bet DIY

I'm always over in Pcola, in my 8. I've seen a few ppl cruising around in their's, but I have yet to actually meet any one.

Oh okay you may have seen me, mine is Yellow + chrome rims? But im over at NAS but which would you recommend for replacing an oil cooler?

Well first why are you replacing a oil cooler? Second It's not that hard to do yourself and it be cheaper. But You can try RPM in gulf breeze #850-934-2770 their pretty good guys there. If your just replacing it just to change it to something after market, I would leave it alone I've never had over heating issues with mine and I'm running a turbo setup. The stock one is pretty good but if yours is damage by all means go ahead.

On a different not how about a meet say sometime next week by navarre maybe that way it's closer for everyone......

 

I could possibly do Navarre next week, Race850 does a meet on Thursday nights at the Winn Dixie out there if people just wanted to show up to that, or we could do our own thing.

Also, I saw a Black series I at the Advance Autoparts on N Beal in Fort Walton today, looked like it had an exhaust. Any of you guys?

Hmmm, I keep seeing them around but most are beat up with some teenage chick driving, or some old guy(no offense if any of you are).

 

Okay, my idea for the meetup:

When: 7:30p.m. Thursday October 6th
Where: Winn Dixie in Navarre on Hwy 98

Would that work for anyone else? Other people normally show up there starting around 8, so it'd be cool to get there early I think. People normally end up and Helen Back afterwards for food and drinks if anyone wants to do that too.

Hey almost forgot the bumper is easy about 6 screws takes me about 5 to 10 min I do it in my garage really easy man

 

Looks like I need to replace my front oil seal, anyone ever taken the radiator out and all?
