I've also heard good things about Rotary Resurrection over in TN, but if you've got a dead car, that's a ways to drive. In all honesty, right now, I'm leaning towards this shop when my RX-8's time comes, just because of the good things I've heard.

haven't towed to a shop, but from researching I found it's flooded and low compression. Today I got her to turn over for a few seconds twice. Tomorrow will be pulling plugs, doing deflooding that way and then coat engine housing with mystery oil to build compression. Should have me back on the road soon!
