Dunno if this is what he was referring to, but i personally would think it awesome if i could change the dash light up to blue instead of red... would just flow better with having a blue/black car IMHO. less of a patriotic feel with the red white n blue (n black lol)

That "flip of a switch" would either be the headlights switch to turn the color from black and white to blue and red (if dimmer is engaged) or the ignition that changes the gages from glowing blue to black and white or even the dimmer switch iteself...

(From 5-34 of the owners manual)

When the headlight switch is in the on
position, the illumination of the
instrument cluster and the information
display dims (the instrument cluster
illumination color turns to red).
When driving on snowy or foggy roads, or
in other situations when the instrument
cluster or information display’s visibility
is reduced due to glare from surrounding
brightness, cancel the illumination
dimmer and increase the illumination
intensity.

To cancel the illumination dimmer, rotate
the thumb wheel upward fully. You may
hear a click sound and the illumination
dimmer will be canceled (instrument
cluster illumination color turns to white).

Also, as soon as you unlock or open the door, the gages glow blue.

It is all very cool - but there is no one switch to change the gage colors - rather is is the actions (opening door, turning on the headlight and setting the dimmer control that determines the gage colors.
