Sounds good, but expensive. What are angel eyes? And which Enkei wheels?

I just got the front and back rotoary accents. The back really helps out. Before, it was just black and looked cheap. Having the chrome emblem on the back really fills it in. However, the front accent, doesn't seem to do a ton for it. Its hard to tell a difference from before, but maybe its just my color (Ti Grey).

Can you tell me more about your DVD Nav mod you are thinking about? This is one option I didn't get on my 8 that I really wish I had now, because I would love to use the screen for other auxiliarry inputs.

nice photoshop job adding in the glare...I'm suprised we haven't seen more pics that have had that done to it...it really makes the car look JDM

maybe I'll do the same this weekend and post it

so quick question do you have the NAV unit or not? cause if you do there is no 'hack' of the unit but there is an aux in that can be created through conversion of a video/vga signal to the RGBs of the NAV screen...ask thew at rx8garage.net he is a vendor here and sells units which accomplish this

They can be done on our RX8s, but its a matter of getting to them and making sure you don't break them. I'm trying to see if anyone on the forums know if the low-beam light and its enclosure can be removed.

i want them angel eyes too ..

I used to think that w/ my friend's 330Ci .. thought it was an option .. but since he has them .. I admit, it gives the car a more aggressive look and definitely functional as well.

if/when we (oreo and myself) get them installed (it comes w/ a on/off switch too) I will get photos of then, at nite w/ some distance.

I am thinkin someware along this lines...

http://students.washington.edu/ashis...gel%20Eyes.htm

I sont have the dvd navigation system (they don't bring i tto Puerto Rico) because the maps dont exist for PR. So I have to order the DVD Nav system ($2,800) and buy one of the video switchers av electronics.

as far as the angel eyes I ahave already started to build my own But I still have to install them on the head lights. I am also planning to install some on the stop lights. I will post a DIY as soon as I finish ( It takes me very long because I do it on my spare time which isn't much).

anyway opinions very apreciated and some sugestions.
also If anyone knows where I can order the shop manual It would be great. also instructions on taking the headlights and taillights apart would be great. I dont want to break anything because I forgot some screw on the back behind some plastic that doesn't look like it can't be remmoved.(you get the idea.)

thaks

Check out this link. I got one of these CD's off ebay by typing in RX-8 CD in ebay's search window. There are tons of them out there. The CD is great, breaks everything on the car down.

Pictures of the Angel Eyes

This are the pictures of the angel eyes before Install.

Hopefully I will Install them douring the next weekend. I to took me very long to manufacture them because this has been a weekend/free time=NOTHING project but I finaly got to making the damn things. I am still scared SH..t less of messing up my head/tail light when I take them apart but no pain no gain, right!. so hopefully by next weekend I'll have pictures of the finished project. I am also planning painted calipers for next weekend, RED, to go with the rest of the car.

If anyone has a sugestion on another color that would look AWSOME on the red let me know before next weekend. I was thinking mabe yellow but went to buy the red anyway.
