Just back from Zaino wax service in OKC, Oklahoma
$100 got me wash, claybar, and 4 coats of Zaino (they use the accelerator) at Memorial Xpress in OKC. They had it most of one day. From there on out it's $30 an app for follow up coats, but I'll likely do this myself. I think it looks great, and the paint is as smooth as glass.
Has anyone else hired it done? Price?

it doesn't take long at all.
but the first time you do it, you want to do it properly, so that involves claybar. you could do this step with any wax/polish, so it's really not a zaino thing...
then you wash the car to get the clay stuff off, then use zaino... apply it in a thin layer, shouldn't take long. Then you wipe it off. Then use the gloss spray if you want, not required though. It helps get everything wet and smooth looking.

Cripees...took me four hours to wash, clay, wash, Z1, Z2, Z6, wheels, interior with Leather in a Bottle....I was knackered :p I did the second coat of Z2, Z6 the next day. However, I was applying this stuff outdoors in 32 degree weather, so I guess a bit of break is natural....ya think? I had a big bottle of water to help. Better deal is to buy the ZFX and put a few drops into your Z2. Then can save a step, I highly recommend!

No, there isn't a directory of Zaino "shops." I looked for a directory, and never could find one. I don't know if Zaino corp. would know who they ship to in your area or not.
Yes, the main reason I hired it done was to have them do the claybar.
Stripping off the current wax is easy, just use Dawn dish detergent. (See Zaino website.)

Note: Apply no more than three coats of ZFX™ in a 24 hour period.
BTW - I worked out one coat of Zaino to cost $32.75 based on product and time to apply remove at a meager $10.00 per hr, so $30.00 is a steal.
FYI - for the 12 coats I have on my car the total came to $196.50 most of that is labor (at $10.00 per hr), actual product cost for the 12 coats was $23.00! - that is a remarkably LOW product cost for 12 coats of protection and shine.

I'd much rather apply any wax in 32 °C than 32 °F... but either way it is a chore for sure
