I suck at waxing...

I think my waxing technique could use a little work. I got some wax on the black textured plastic below the rear bumper. Now there's a couple of (seemingly permanent) white patches that I can't get rid of. Does anyone know a way to take wax off a textured plastic surface, or am I stuck with these for eternity?
