How to remove soot from exhaust?
I use water and a cloth to remove soot.
I also use English Custom Chrome Polish and hot environment polish to remove any oxidation

+1 for Nevr Dull. Amazing stuff, can be used for other things, and reasonably priced.
I've never been a huge fan of Never Dull, myself.
I LOVE Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish. It took the 4-year-old, black, exhaust tips on my RX-8 and with some elbow grease made them look brand new. Hell, I bet you could turn your child's head chrome with this stuff if you polish at it enough!
