Competitors to Zaino?

Have you heard of Tropi-care the creator used to be a zaino rep. I saw his product in use at a car show at bass pro shop on the 4th. The job done on an old 36 truck was amazing, looked better then the camero ss with zaino, but that just could be the user.

BY now I am sure there are products as good as or better than Zaino, But four years ago when I started using Zaino, there was virtually nothing in it's price range/ease of use (Except whatever Baller uses - LOL).
With that said, I will continue to use Zaino until I see the long term results of a lot of the newer products. Partly because Zaino does last and partly because Zaino was an original, and I just hate copies of anything.

Perhaps one day I will tell my story on the evil killer wax, perhaps.
For now I promise to be positive and never say a bad word about anything or anybody.:D

NXT wax uses a very similar approach in terms of applicaiton to the CG Quick product. Isn't it applied while the car is still wet or am I thinking of another product. I saw a commercial on this...anyone know?

Good plan of attack. With the winter approaching it's always a good idea to maintain the coat a bit more. But it's really easy maintenance, that's the point. No long hours of waxing or polishing...

Haven't read the whole thread, but you can try Autoglym. Great results and cheap:

It's only the initial prep that takes long for Zaino, once dawn washed and claybarred (is that a word?) it takes 10 minutes to apply, wait approx 20 mins (using ZFX) and wipe off in minutes. No rubbing or buffing. Zaino's best feature is it can be layered and the more layers, the better the car will look. Some people put a carnauba top coat or sandwich it between layers to tone down the shine.
Zaino lasts a good solid 6 months, more if garage kept. I have yet to see proof of anything that is as easy to apply, as durable and has the economy overy time.
(ready and waiting for Baller to jump on me now - lol)

I went 6 months between official waxings with NXT...
Although, pretty much every washing I used some NXT spray not because I really needed to, but since you can spray the stuff on while the car is wet I don't have to worry about frantically running around trying to dry my black car before it waterspots...

Well Hey All...so Baller, what's your story on the evil killer wax? Man u set us up and then no delivery (?) Maybe it's posted in another thread? I love these shine threads cause at the end of the day it doesn't really matter what u use, it's more dependent on how you feel about your car. I enjoy using Zaino cause I love pampering my 8, it's fun! It's simply the best product I've found to gleam my 8 which I love driving. There could be better products out there, but if you get a great shine using whatever product, enjoy using the product and enjoy spending time with your vehicle. If it's only about "out-shining" the next guy...who really cares? I see it as having pride in your 8 and wanting to show her off a bit while you tear down the streets...who can knock that?

Your car sure looks great, Sal Zaino is a great salesman.
I can't jump on you (that is not my style), but I think there is a guy in Vermont that would.
