Here's an outside-of-car video from my last points event of the season with my local BRR-SCCA region. The lot is bumpy in places, but the car felt planted and was very easy to control even through the worse of it.

Hope to keep steadily developing the car for the class over the next 2 years.

Well I wasn't running 17.. I was running 255/35, but if it helps to give you an idea..
2. Bought my set at the beginning of the season, have done 15 events and put 5,000 miles on them and they still feel like new. Didn't shave em.
3. The best pressures for me were 29 front and 32 rear. Running the Stance coilovers with 10k front and 7k rear, with 4 clicks from soft front and 1 click from soft rear.
Hope that helps :x

Yeah. Was no fun guys. :/ Some think my tierod went, some think I hit something.. I honestly don't know. One second I'm driving on a expressway, that has a guardrail in the middle, going straight at about 50 MPH. The next, the car suddenly pulls left towards the guardrail..HARD. And I was still holding the steering wheel straight the whole time.
No fun. :/ After I'm done stripping it down and getting all the requested crap out, I'm thinking of either another RX-8, but getting a sport one (finally <3) or a RX-7 FD, or a S2000.

Did you have the early lower front control arms that supposedly suffer catastrophic ball joint failure?

In light of further member input received since its prior meeting, and per the unanimous recommendation of the STAC, the
SEB has reconsidered its earlier decision and is recommending the following change to the BOD, effective 1/1/2011:
- Delete 14.2.F

F. Addition of spoilers, splitters, body kits, rear wings and nonfunctional

commonly available appearance kits, and replicas thereof, which
have no signifi cant aerodynamic function at Solo speeds. Body kits
are limited to bumper covers (including modifi ed OE bumper covers),
valances, side skirts, and fender fl ares. Standard parts may not be
removed except for the substitution of spoilers, rear wings, bumper
covers and valances. Rear wings must attach only aft of the rear

Also... it looks like the proposal to move the RX8 to CSP was tabled.
Per recommendation of the ****, the following additional previously-published proposals have been tabled:
- Move from BSP to CSP:
BMW
M3 (E46)
M3 (E36)
Datsun
240Z
260Z
280Z
Honda
S2000
Mazda
RX-8
Comment from the ****: moving these cars would not make them any more competitive in CSP than in BSP.
At Lincoln the playing field appears to have been leveled between the Evos and the other cars in the class. In
addition, cars such as the M3 and RX8 are dissimilar to the rest of CSP.
