For $1,200 more you get HID lights, Nav radio, Nicer interior, and world ralley Blue paint

Plus I think the Subaru will hold it's value better.

the base FRS is supposed to be about 10 - 15# lighter

edited, guess it was not as much as I had previously heard. I would still rather have the $1200 to put towards racing parts instead, but that's just me

Unfortunately I had my Toyos mounted up for nothing. Found that another shock is blown last night and have cancelled my entry as a result. Car has been sitting unused since Nats no less. That pretty much summarizes the entire 2012 season for me.

Good luck to everyone this weekend.

congrats to Andrew Pallotta for taking the STX win in Sparkys RX8 at the Blytheville TriState Tour event and then going all the way to the Final round to finish 2nd Overall in the new Shootout format.

There is one last National Tour event scheduled this year; Nov 10-11 in St. Louis, MO. This will be the standard Tour format held at a race track facility. Might try to make it if my shocks come back in time.

I will be there, will be my first Tour to attend. From what I have heard it will use the road course and part of the oval but will be taking the road course in the opposite direction of normal. The entries are way down right now so we need to boost them or they might end up cancelling the event. They need at least 20 more entries to make a go of the event.

I had no idea my car was that fast and that I was leaving that much on the table.....

I had been thinking about an FR-S....now I think I'm gonna hold off. Watching Jadrice all weekend in his, the car is fast but the gearing kinda sucks.

I have a Perrin tune in my BRZ, and now I can do 63.5 in 2nd. That made a difference, on the stock limiter I was hitting it 4-5 times every event.

Duoh! Yeah I was kinda overlooking that. That's plenty of legs for most national level courses. Thanks Eric! Feel sorry for the C Stock crowd though.

Nice Car!
