Racing Gloves
so i am looking to get a pair of nomex racing gloves. any suggestions on what is a good glove for a reasonable price?

It's all personal preference. This question is like asking what kind of underwear do you wear? Your best bet is to go to some type of auto competition store and try on some gloves...depending on how far you live from Millville, I'd suggest you check out the track store at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

i hear that, i def dont want to be stuck with gloves that dont fit me well
just wondering should i be sticking to the sparco brands or considering the less popular FIA approved ones as well

I've had OMP, Sparco and Simpson gloves at different times. The OMP's fell apart, I lost the Sparcos, but thought they were just ok, and the Simpsons are still going strong...and comfy, but with good feel through the finger leather.

Power!!
I have a fairly cheap pair of Shift gloves. They are nomex and leather and work well for my needs (once or twice a month). I bought mine on www.saferacer.com
They were a pretty good resource and had good prices too.
Here is the basic pair I bought. They are reasonable and fine for what I do (HPDEs). I have relatively small hands and they fit me well.

I spent good money on my first pair (Sparco). They had holes in them very quickly.
My current pair (SafeQuip) cost me a quarter of the Sparco's cost and are just as comfy.

I have the G-Force's as well and like them. I tried on the Alpinestars at VIR once and they felt like sex, but I don't pay for sex. Well, not over $100.

yeah i was thinking about going down the g-force route after looking at the prices for some of the sparco, or alpinestars gloves
seems like the extra money doesnt justify the quality
