After years driving CS / CSP Miatas it's odd competing on a stock suspension and the OEM RE040s, but a great teacher to remind me about pushing the tires just hard enough. Still quite fast locally on those tires.
Next year R compounds & shocks, or a STX suspension with good tires.

Yes, that's a real Royal Canadian Mounted Police cruiser taking part in a lapping school set up at the north end of the airfield. It was very different to see the cops cruising around the temporary road course following an Exige, Mustang, Corvette and an original Mini.
I was on the concrete apron at the annual Slalom @ Slemon in Summerside PEI.
I think Gord was using a lot of zoom because that cruiser was actually a lot further away than it looks in the shot.

Yes this was the 12 hr but the trans let us down. This was the 09 box but it was bone stock out of the box two days before the event. There are some plastic bushings in the trans that do not hold up to heat well and we lost 5th about two hrs in and then 6th at three hrs. Driver in the car was riding the rev limiter a bit too much and the motor went lean enough to burn the motor up. P port 13B is going in now and should be ready for 13hr at VIR. Might even have the dog box trans ready then also.
