My first drag runs

Hey guys, took my 07 mt to the drag strip for the first time today. I figured I'd share my runs with you guys and maybe get some reactions that could help me and others tracking their car. I've heard of guys on the forums getting high 14's - low 15's on stock 8's. As someone who's never run before I'm not too upset with 16's.

Anyways, I did 5 runs but only got 4 time slips (SHOULD be attached below if I can work this website on mobile) due to a screw up on the track's part. The run I don't have a slip for was pretty trash though. Maybe 17 seconds. I'm pretty stock: just a k&n that might add 2 horse, michelin all weathers with pretty good tread, and a ricey wing on the back (hate it or love it I don't care its my baby regardless).

My 60' times are slow as hell cause my launches are trash and I'd appreciate any pointers. Most of my launches were just gentle clutch dumps around 5k after a quick burn. I say most because I was really amped up and there's a lot to focus on for a first timer lol.

On another note, I did beat a shitty mustang by about a half second

Long *** post I'm sorry
Tl;dr: first day at the track. Any pointers for me + other people looking to drag? Thanks guys!

On another note, it was about 85-90 degrees out today. Pretty hot to be running but it was worth going out for import face-off.
