Fontana ProSolo - STX win
Thought I'd be really rusty since I haven't autocrossed all year, but I guess not. Fixed the car last minute and managed to get two fresh tires, then showed up Saturday morning.
an RX8 won 3 classes over the weekend, L3, S1, and STX.

This was my first pro with it in STX form and the 2nd attempt at a RPM that doesn't bog - it was at 4500 the day before, with predictably worse results. I'll probably give 7k a shot at the Finale, provided it happens.

You took it as negative criticism? My only intention is to help him become better for future events. I bet he’d not only like to win more, but a championship too. Instruction can do that, but not vain praise. It’s exactly what I want for myself, so it’s exactly what I give in kind. The way to improve is through direct, honest assessment, not being wise in your own conceits.

thanks for posting, love the setup you have and congrats on the W.
Yup, as for launching it looks like a few thousand revs higher could shave a few tenths off your time.
I've really been toying with the idea of mounting some new Falken RT-660's on my old OEM wheels and doing an autocross day. This video isn't helping my wallet...
