Had some fun in the RX-8 courtesy of LPR-PCA last weekend. First time at an AX in the RX-8 and it was a good learning experience coming from a Civic Si last year. I was really impressed with the way the car handled completely stock. Quite neutral in comparison to the civic even though I had suspension on that which made it much more neutral than stock. I was using the 3 yr old factory fitted tires and really could have done with some softer, stickier tires in the morning, but did manage to get some heat into them in the afternoon which helped up the grip level.

Yes, sorry about the noise. I need to put some tape over the mic next time or do something else with it.

20-30 mph is pretty slow. I don't think this one was a very fast course. I guess we are lucky to not have any objects to worry about. It is around 1 hr 20 min for me to drive there though.

Next one. Really fun course, no straights :-) I was only there for the morning; 6 runs and I needed more practice on this one. And apologies again, I forgot to tape over the mic, so turn your sound down or be deafened by the wind. OK, so enough with the excuses, here is the video...
