*facepalm* I knew what a pro solo is but misread your comment to be about national events in general. Didn't realize you got all your runs at once though, that's cool.

Team, good point. If all goes well financially, I'll be out of my street tire class by the end of the year.

I'm not sure we will make a class for the Texas Pro. I was expecting at least another Subaru & BMW or two to register, but two weeks out and there are only three of us registered in STX.

So last friday I found out my Davesport Cat was melted!! I got on the phone and Dave sent me a New one with fast shipping. I got it on Monday, cut the old one out, and welded the new one in. Nothing like last minute repairs before the Pro.

Hopefully everything else is ready to go.

I'm just getting started on making the car ready. Haha

In the process of making sure I can meet sound requirements. I hit 98db at the Nashville Tour, and supposedly the sound meter was reading about 9-10db low. :/

I think the course is Fun and Challenging. It is hard to get the whole run perfect, hopefully I can figure it out tomorrow if it doesn't rain.

Thanks! Couldn't ask for a better event. Excellent weather, good courses and great competition. Simmons was flying to get things started and put the pedal down further Sunday. Somehow I was able to sort things out and eek out a win. All around great group in STX. Looking forward to competing against everyone in the future.

Great comeback Jeff! Eric looks like he's pretty much up to speed already (God I hope so) and Jeff Anderson was able to hold off the BMWs for the final podium position.

Congrats to all!

What a fun weekend. Great weather, challenging courses, and some fierce competition. Jeff H and Eric crushed the field with their blazing right-side times. The battle mid-pack was tight, with just 0.053 separating 5th through 7th.

It was great meeting you guys. Good luck with the rest of the season. Hope to see you all at Devens in June.

It was nice meeting everyone this weekend, Very cool group of drivers. I was upset with myself that I couldn't lay down a good run on the left. I have known Hurst for many years and we take turns winning against each other over the years. Maybe Toledo will be my turn

Thanks for the gas, sorry I went out the 1st round in the Challenge
I did have a crazy spin after the finish though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtxRS...ature=youtu.be

Congrats to you and both Jeffs on your great performances! I was wondering when Hurst was going to rocket to the front. I think he was trying to lull you into a sense of complacency.

Had a great time running with all of you guys. Was nice to finally put faces with some names. Next time I run STX, it will definitely be in an RX-8. Good possibility the next owner of my car will be in STX.

Finally got the data and video synched. According to the DL1, there were just over 33 ft of elevation change on the left course and a little under 30 ft on the right.

Here's a video of my fastest left side:
