Finally got out to the strip tonight. First run ever I did 13.66. Second best was 13.831. I had a really hard time getting the street tires to hook up, lots of wheel spin. It was my first time ever so with some practice and better tires I think I can do better

My highest trap speed for the night was 107.57 but crappy launch, putting that run into the low 14's.

Higher trap usually = bad launch or no launch...
But trap spd will indicate the power your car is making.

At 12 psi I was trapping 12.7@115mph with a 3k launch.

Ya it was def a bad launch. It was my first time ever, didn't even know what to do when I got there It was a ton of fun and I look forward to practicing next year. I've got some work planned for the car over the winter.

I'm curious to know how Team calculated that. I get the concept but that 400 figure seems quite generous based on all the trap speed HP calculators I've tried. Based on Team's math that would put my 107.57 speed at 374, no?
