WTB: Your old sway bars
Hi,
I'm looking for a set of OEM RX-8 (manual, not AT) sway bars and bushings. If you've upgraded yours and would like to sell me your old ones, call me at 321 917 9475 or e-mail me at j_a_ramirez at hotmail dot com.
I'm in central Florida, but would be willing to buy by mail.
Thanks,
Ditch

I take mine off this weekend!
I'm an 05 manual and live over in the Melbourne area.....on the coast within easy reach. The car only has roughly 12k miles so they are in good shape!
E-mail sent.
You can save shipping by coming over and getting them or meeting me halfway.

Racing Beat Sways and Endlinks.
BTW................I'm not sure who cursed who, but on my way home this evening, I pull into the local Haji-mart and I see in the reflection in the window that I have a blinking LED in the parking light!
It was even on the passenger side, but changed it in about two minutes!
Once you know the drill and know that those little wings are on the socket, you can get them out pretty quick even though it's really tight in there.

Okay Ditch,
I E-mailed you last night and I out on the new Racing Beat Sways and Endlinks today. All the OEM sways, brackets, and bumpers look in really good shape!
I also of course have the stock endlinks if you need them?
Swoope..........back sway was cake, front took a little longer......as I was by myself and getting the bar out and in by yourself takes a little bit.
I didn't want to drop the tray, so I just took my time and went from one side of the car to the other about 30 times!
No trouble with the endlinks, didn't even have to use the 5mm hex when taking the old ones off.
I did have to use it for a short time when putting the new ones on, but it's all good.......no worries!
Only went for about a ten minutes drive and really couldn't throw it into any corners, but those I did take felt really good and stable!
I'll push it harder tomorrow, but I can tell it's got less roll already.

Thanks guys, but I found a set here in Orlando today. I just finished installing them on my Miata, and let me just say that I will have a permagrin for at least a week. :D
If you're interested in selling yours, I suggest putting them up for sale on the miata.net classifieds. They fit 06-08 Miatas perfectly, and there's been a lot of buzz on the boards about this cheap upgrade. I'm sure you'll find local buyers there.
BTW, true about nice roads in NC. I've taken two road trips to Western NC this year and I was very impressed, not only with the roads, but also with the scenery, nice weather and friendly folks.
Thanks again,
Ditch
