Hey, I am a college student just looking to make a few extra bucks. I am pretty good with electronics and have recently put together an all in one police radar scanner, popup tablet in the Nav hood,Obd2 wifi, and usb charger all together in a perfectly plug and play setup. The tabet receives data from the included OBD2 wifi sensor and the tablet can display hp/torque graphs, speed, revs, afr, temps and soo many more. The refresh rate is pretty accurate and the HP and Torque seem perfectly accurate as long as the correct weight is inputted in settings. One plus especially for our cars is the ability to scan and clear codes straight from the tablet along with checking the readyness codes for inspection. Will record 1/8 and 1/4 miles from a stop. Another plus is that the radar is perfectly placed right above the rear view mirror with a pre-wired setup that is perfect length for hiding the wires.

The build will be posted in case you want to make it yourself but if not I am willing to make them for you. The cost would be $275 plus shipping if you have the original nav hood, or 550-600 for a new popup unit all together(they are like $300 new for the hood alone and if you would like a used one off of ebay we can lower the price.). Also if you want the front of the housing of the hood glossed black or hydrodipped we can work out a price( should be well under $50). The bad is that the hood opens with the open button only and does not close with the button and the tilt button is also inoperable. The tablet is a freelander pd20 and it is a cheaper tablet but has everything needed for what is mentioned. All install directions will be included with pics.

How it works... The power from the radar is wired to the motor in the hood and also connected to the open button. This all gets ran behind the radio, under the shifter and is directly wired to the 12v usb adapter thats plugged in the center console 12v connector. Now the tablet is a usb charger that can be plugged in the usb adaptor or not if you want to use it for your ipod charger or something. This means you can always have the open button and radar work when the car is switched to on regardless of whether you are using the tablet or different usb charger.

Sorry for the terrible video quality but driving stick and trying to videotape with the same hand is alitle hard. Install pics and directions coming soon! any questions just ask.
