FS: Tanabe GF210 Lowering Springs, CHEAP!

SOLD

The previous owner sand blasted them and painted them black. I have no idea why he did this but since the original coating was so thick - the removed material will give you more of a drop (approx 1/8" more).
Even though the appearance of them is totally different I can guarantee they are in fact Tanabe lowering springs.
I have the same set on my car and the ride is great! Not bouncy at all, firmer then stock but not annoyingly stiff while still providing a noticeable upgrade in handling.
I'll sell them for $125 plus shipping, because of the black paint.

Here are some specs on them:
Tanabe GF210s
Front drop 1.4 "
Front rate 179 lb
Rear Drop 1.2 "
Rear rate 146 lb

stock sport springs
Front drop 0"
Front rate 156 lb
Rear Drop 0"
Rear rate 113 lb

Rotary Riot told us locals about this whole ordeal... maybe you should ask for some authenticity before you buy something and then say, ". . . heyyy, wait a minute! "
Your buying used, 3rd hand parts... if you don't feel comfortable with that... then don't buy them.

So he sold the product to you to the best of his knowledge, good price, shipped on time. Did everything he said he was going to do, but you disputed the transaction anyway...

I'd be up your "expert's" *** about making you look really really dumb.

This whole situation is hilarious

they are tanabe gf210's because i sold them to viprez and i know they are, and he sold em to you at the same price i did, so i did give him a good deal after all.

Yeah so i jumped the gun on accussing them of not being Tanabes and they ended up being in fact so.
If you guys wanna bitch and moan about me re-selling them go ahead.
Yes I was wrong about accusing rotoreriot of selling me fakes and to him i owe apologies.
If being concerned about putting fake parts on my car makes me a bad person so be it.

Lets re-cap Bought used springs that were "powder-coated" which in no way looks like powder-coat, more that of a 2 year-old spray paint job laid on heavily. Upon the springs arriving in a RSR box. So you have to wonder "hmm did i get ripped off".

How am i any different from rotoreriot If i still sold them at a price cheaper then what rotoreriot sold me them for. I lost money on the deal so hence that makes me a dick?

I at no time said i was an expert but being a mechanic you'd think I've seen maybe just one set of lowering springs in my lifetime, but that would be obsurd. I only work on cars everyday.

So yes, go ahead with your accussations and thoughts of how bad of a seller I am, how I know nothing, and deserve mockery. Real adult like children.

i think you did owe me an apology and im not saying your a bad seller, you didnt make a profit off these at all. i only sent them to you exactly as i received them in that RSR box. robb sent them to me in those, because he had RSR springs. i was mad that you disputed me with no proof other than they felt too soft to be tanabe's. you never asked for a picture or anything from me before buying either. i understand you dont want to waste the time to put them on your car to see if there tanabe's cuz its a big job and its not worth the risk if there not, but all you had to do was look at tanabe's website and they have a pic of the springs which look identical to the ones i sent you. thats what i did when i got them from robb becuase i didnt know anything about springs. and i didnt powder coat them, the person before robb did, and i didnt have any experience with paint or any of that so i couldnt tell if it was shitty so i put em up as powdercoated because thats what i was told they were when i bought them.

and to add about the paint, i dont know how old these are so they could be 2 years old and they have been on 3 cars since the painting so that could have something to do with it too.

Understandable, I have no discrepencies with you. Yes I should've asked for pictures before i bought them. I wasnt under the impression they were stripped and powder-coated and that was my mistake for assuming.

However other memebers here who chose to provide their totally irrelivant opinion into a FOR SALE thread have no business here and are just running their mouths thread crapping/ start flame war. Site's like this that are un-moderated and let the children run wild make me sick.
