As long as this thread is already revived, I'd like to say, slvrstreak, that I actually really like the way your '8 looks. It's not "ricey" at all. This guy was just a *****. Albeit a funny *****.

there are many cars in Japan that run that DC5 type S logo. They also run the RS logo on the their R3's(RS) from the Fit. What's cool over there is ghey over here I guess. IMO if you debadge it and only put the type S, it would look good, but I know I will get flamed just for writing this...
I could paint a vagina on my car because I think it looks good that doesn't mean it actually does. If you think its cool to take a GTR sticker off of your Nissan and slap it on you Mazda go right ahead. I don't care if it does look good its still ghey and make you look like you don't know anything about your car.
The only time I would personally think that it would be ok is if some one did some kind of motor swap.
IMO, others opinions may differ
