The rotors aren't ceramic; they are actually composite carbon nanotube reinforced polypropylene that has been further strengthened by ferritic nitrocarburization.

This is the first documented non-Honda to unleash the previously hidden potential of VTEC. So, no. Get your own ideas.

Actually, the 400 million k is literally the temperature at which they burn, measured in kelvin.

It'd be funny if you photoshopped those stickers on there. But the fact that they're real...

If I saw you at a meet, I'd avoid you like the freaking plague. Just freaking uncool.

I hope you get the thumbs down while driving around town.

Where did you fit the dual over-head cam? And how does it cooperate with the intake and exhaust ports.

And if i am correct, V-tec summed up is variable valve timing. Will you please relate your answer from my first question to this question. thank you.

Hello, 9kBeep; thanks for your interest in the VTEC RX-8. I did not have to "fit" the camshafts anywhere, as they are right where Honda originally placed them for purchase in the Japanese Domestic Market.

Nah, to fancy, I'm Assuming its probably the motor from my ride on honda lawn mower...

So judging by the fact that you have now downgraded the engine in the mazda to a Vtec 4 banger. You in essance completely dystroyed the over all image of the rx8, by this i mean you removed the rotary engine which is the sole heart of this car, and replaces it with an engine that is seen in 1/3 cars on the road today... so really what you did is reduce the value of the car, and make it slower.

silly wanna-bee

I wasn't aware your reading comprehension skills were so subpar, 9kBeep. If only you could have possibly fathomed my original post, you would have realized I kept the Renesis motor inside the bay. In fact, it's the first thing I listed. Although, admittedly, I do not know why you even bothered to tout the 'unique' factor of the RX-8's engine; not only is an object's uncommon characteristics necessarily proportional to its value, it's not like rotary engines are anything new. Perhaps you enjoy proclaiming rotary power as mindlessly as some Civic drivers promote VTEC? How very 'wanna-bee'-like of you. Your bogus statistics also corroborate with my belief that you are indeed a rotary drone. How does it feel to be on the same automotive tier as the folks over at ek9.org?

While we're on the subject of 'dystroying' the image of the RX-8, however, take a look at your own post. You're supposed to be representing the RX-8 community and you're doing a job as pitiful as most Civic tuners. Feel free to show me your RX-8, as I'm sure it's as riced out as the other people in the thread that didn't get the joke. This entire charade was aimed at people like you, slvrstreak, laythor, etc. etc. who do some of the stupidest **** I've seen done to an RX-8. Subconsciously you must have realized I'm making fun of people like you--I'm so sorry you are insecure.

how dare you call my car out???
i get more compliments, head-turns, and stares in a week than than you probably have the whole time youve had your car...seriously???
so i guess you want every RX-8 to be identical little clones to yours...forgive us for wanting to make our cars different
no one has the right to judge anyone else's **** so you can go screw yourself if you think i or anyone else cares about what you have to say

Lol, Oh dear god somebody needs to get a life. You are honestly wasting your time in creating this idea of a Vtec powered rx8, just to turn around and try to call out people who have actually made their cars interesting? You see it would have been funny if you didnt try and take it so seriously, but you did.

I will admit that some people have slightly embarrassed the rx8 community with there cars or simply them selves (Subconsciously you must have realized I'm making fun of people like you) But the general public here have all made fantastic looking cars.

Oh and here is my car, all riced out. I bought it because it looked good, not because of the torque'less, underpowered engine. Thats why I bought the sportbike. So before you go and call other people out atleast know what the **** you are talking about. Notice you have an entire forum calling you out here, its you by your lonesome against all of us... So I'm still the insecure one?
