the old rims were cool. I wanted something that was in no way close to the stock silver rims. So at that time, I would not have bought the rims I currently have. They were gunmetal, huge silver lip, and looked sweet.

The new rims are for performance, not looks. But they do look sharp.

Looking very nice.
How much oil builds up in the catch can over time? I ask because the line looks very clean.

the line only looks clean because the pics were taken shortly after I installed it The line is yellow now. I just drained about 1/4th of a quart of oil from it. Given a chance to redo it, I'd opt for the smaller greddy catch can. Bigger isn't always better.

very easy to install. I just mounted it to the side of the batt box.

The car runs great.. only real problems I had in 47k miles was power steering failing (dealer warranty item to repair), and my 4th gear syncro is dying, causing it to grind in 4th gear when upshifting at >4k rpm. So in about a week or so, I'll have a new transmission, and likely the ACT streetlite flywheel, and ACT upgraded clutch installed

in the new pics above, I have the stock exhaust installed. I don't have any newer pics that show the HKS Legamax that is currently on the car.

I am for the time being - until the transmission is replaced.

It's the Seibon KS style hood.

My upgrade parts list: http://rotaryinsider.com/rx8-105.html

Hard to say, because I'm not running it catless and there is no turbo right now. In a few weeks I'll know if I like it or not But the Legamax has always sounded good to me, so I have a good feeling about it.

RotaryResurrection powder coated my intake pipes and catch can for me in mirror black - No one here better copy me, I wanted something different than everyone else :P

Here's a before and after. It's basically a wet looking black. The black perfectly matches the synchronic bov. The pics didn't come out well since it's so dark in the garage, but it should give you an idea.

I didn't pick black to hide the pipes

Also I am not going to be able to show pics of the pipes installed till middle of Jan - when I have the new turbo installed.

what's a good/high quality drilled rotor brand then?

Sounds like you sorta copied me. I did mine back in July, but in a matte Black.
They look good.
