I just don't get this whole fascination with carbon fiber... and the stock hood is fine IMO. The only thing I would want is some vent to decrease the heat in the engine bay, but I have not seen any aftermarket hood that I'd really like.

But as long you like yours, that's all what matters

I like it alot, I would have painted it to match the car. But I like the styling it is one of the only hoods I like.

I like it too! How much lighter it is compared to the stock hood? Could you also please take some (hopefully bigger) picture outside?

I would leave it, you spent the money for CF, show it off. IMO red looks pretty good with the CF hood.

Bigger pictures outside the garage...

Leave it CF, paint the hoods black, and then give it to me!

Beautiful. Could you please take some full car pictures with more lighting?

It does look good on red.

I'm waiting for someone to sell the fiberglass version of either the TS-II hood or the new vis racing razor hood. I just need the vented option, no need for CF.

Paint it red. Maybe it's because you resized the pics, but those vent meshes look terrible. Paint them or ditch them.

agree with Adrian-!, the vis racing razor hood (similar to the r-magic) looks awesome and allows for heat dissappation for those of us who need/want a cooler engine bay.

dd sends...

It's interesting, the cf is really just fibreglass wrapped in a layer of cf with a big fat price tag. You would think they would offer the fibreglass version at the same time.

I think you could ditch the mesh but then to me it would look unfinished or like it has holes not vents

the mesh is kinda loud looking and painting it black will help tone it down

not to mention by k&N intake is twice as loud now
