I appreciate the kind words.

The next task to tackle is allowing you guys to upload pics from your phone. Sit tight and cross your fingers.

 

*sigh* ... welp, I think i might have to admit defeat on the attachment piece of the app . Been working hours on end for the past few days to try to get it working .... the closest I can get is to upload a photo from the phone to the server, unfortunately there is no way for me to emulate what the browser does (javascript) and communicate back to the server to register the attachment to the user's post.

The code is out there on github if anyone wants to check it out and attack it.

Here is the commit that introduced attachments (it is still available on subsequent commits, but I removed the GUI button for attachments)

New update should now be available on the Play Store. v1.1.5

Few bug fixes, UI improvements, and should communicate to the server a lot faster. This one might be a release candidate for its first non-Beta release. Please let me know if you guys have any issues or suggestions!

Alright folks. Gunna need your help with this one. I think I FINALLY fixed the overlapping image issue for ICS+ devices. Also, images will now "lazyload" to save bandwidth (meaning it will load the image once it is in view).

Let me know how it fares.

 

Hey Paimon, so far I've been using this app a lot over the last couple months, though I haven't explored too much, unfortunately.

A few things I've noticed:
1. When I click to view my profile, I get an "Error with credentials" message.
2. When submitting a reply to a pm or sending a new one, nothing happens. The button is highlighted, but the message does not send. And if it does, I'm not aware of it (this happened recently when responding to a pm from you).
3. I still get a few crashes, but I think that's more due to my service than anything else.

Either way, I'm loving the app!

 

I thought I recently fixed 1 and 2 . are you using v1.2?

Paimon, I download the app periodically to try it, but to be honest the one thing that drives me nuts is how the newest posts page only has links to the first page of the thread. Any way you can either point those to the last page (recent post after all), or an alternate link/button that jumps to the end instead of the beginning?

 

that is a great point. I have just implemented it and am going to test it myself. Assuming all goes well you should have an update tomorrow afternoon

All set. Should propagate to the Play servers in the next hour. By default it will open up the first page on the thread, but there is an option in the preferences that will let you change that

 

hey paimon, is there any way to view "sent messages" via the app? Also, I've noticed that if I reply to a pm using the app, the sent message does not appear in my sent messages folder.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

This is still my #2 used app on my phone. Even more so than calling and texting lol

I sure can incorporate that for you. The current version doesn't let you see sent items, but I can add that in, free of charge.

I have a few fixes from Pearl to take care of as well
