ok I did just come across one quirk... would you have any idea why I can't follow any hyperlinks? I keep tapping on them but nothing. this goes for both text links as well as picture links.

Looks great!!... but text is way to small and font size doesn't seem to change anything.

 

Thanks for reporting this. I was able to reproduce and will fix tonight.

BTW last night I released an update that fixed the hyperlinks in threads, and enabled the "Favorites" menu. You can now 'long-press' on a thread and add it to your favorites list. This will let you quickly open that thread. Right now the favorites menu is very basic, but hopefully in the future I can have it show more detail. To remove threads from your favorites list, you can go to the preferences page and click "Manage Favorites"

 

I love the favorites function! I know you are already working on the font issue... is there any way to view pics with zoom? for example, off I go to the Photoshoot at abandoned trainyard thread, I see the thumbnails but can't enlarge to actually see the pictures... really though, this is trivial, your app kicks ***! Thanks for making it!

K so I fixed the font size issue and have been testing it, looks good so I am planning on staging it to be released tonight.

One thing though, yankeepicker, you mentioned that you wanted to be able to view pics with zoom... I am able to click on the images and it opens them up in a browser where I am able to zoom. Do you get the same behavior?

 

no, when I tap on the image, nothing happens at all. I'll try again now on the same thread...

ok I just tried it again with no luck. Tapping on the picture does nothing, nor does long pressing on the picture. I'm using a galaxy s4 now instead of my old droid charge if that makes any difference.

Hrmm k, I will see if i can try to reproduce this.

In the meantime, new version released
- font size option fixed
- performance increase
- sub forums now implemented (long hold on a forum to see its sub forums)

 

Wanted to take some time to say thank you to everyone who has been using/experiencing this application, and providing feedback.



Hopefully the latest version has been far more stable and has made for a better user experience. Remember guys, this app is free, ad-free, pop up free, open source, and has been made on my own time. All I ask is that you take the time to leave rating/feedback in the app store. I will do my best to respond to negative feedback, and correct any issues that arise.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I have pushed another update out and hopefully the trend continues. This new update has a 'Guest' mode which will allow the user to browse without having to log in. Just like if you were to browse the page without logging in, you obviously cannot post/pm/etc.

Also fixed an issue where some user's post counts weren't showing in threads.

 

sometimes it crashes on me upon launch. it then reloads correctly, so it's not a big deal, just thought I'd let you know

Oh btw guys, if you do get crashes in the app, please make sure to use the "Report" feature. It will log the error and will make it easier for me to debug. Thx!

FYI I am investigating an issue where the user's login status is sometimes expiring (thus showing ads in first post of each thread)

 

New update should be available in the Play store.

* Hopefully fixed the issue where the session would expire and ads would be displayed for some users
* Redid the user profile page, now your recent threads are clickable
* Fixed issue where you couldn't delete PMs.

 

New update available that improves performance by caching the main page daily

 

You should have pointed me to this thread before so I could stop PMing you with issues. It was hidden in multimedia all this time.

 

er, I can't use the navigate buttons anymore. clicking on "next" or "last" simply refreshes the first page of a thread.
I like the font upgrade on the favorites menu
