I hear ya, but I'm trying to make it appeal without narrowing it down too much. A fairly stock 8 with ambiguous color so that anyone with an 8 would like to wear it. I'm working on an anime style girl now, trying to make her fairly [G] rated,

 

Just write Mazda vertically instead of the girl. Good looking shirt BTW. :ico_tup:

 

ill see if i can make one and hand screen it. thats always cooler than ordering them in my opinion

 

I'm avoiding putting Mazda or the emblems or anything on there just to play it safe and not worry about getting in trouble with Mazda for some kind of licensing issue. I may put together a simple i color shirt idea too, but I'm going to finish this idea first

Nvrfalter: What kind of design are you thinking about making? What do you mean by hand screen? Do you have stuff to do it at home, or is there some inexpensive way to do it by hand? I just use the printing shops that our company outsources too and try to get a deal from them on printing, but setup and screen charges make it really expensive to do small runs.

 

i have stuff. i would probably make it in illustrator, print it out, trace it on a screen and paint some stuff on it. then i squeege some ink through and its gold.

as far as what goes on, i dunno what do people wanna see? rotors and skulls? it would be single color so like black on a white shirt. nothing as complex as yours

another one for the simple rotor on the chest, small too, well not like the polo logo small, but not covering the whole shirt. i'd buy that in a heartbeat.

i like to think our car/engine is kind of classy. like, other cars are fine, but any schmuk (sp?) can build a v6 v8 and slap a turbo on it (ie cobalt ss), but we have a one of a kind car here. keep it simple and clean, let the rotor speak for itself.

Alright, here's a new version on the back with a front print. This is my first attempt at painting a hot asian chick with a little anime flair, I'm still tweaking her art and adding details. Comments welcome.

lol, yeah, I like it too, and it didn't take much time at all compared to how much work is going into the back, lol. I'm wondering if I need to be worried about saying "Renesis" on a shirt, if Mazda's gonna car or not. I thought about putting "SE3PFTW" but didn't think enough people would understand that.

The back one I would like if it didn't have the girl on it - seriously . Also I would get rid of the cutaway engine as it is a double up on the rotor and makes it look too busy.
So that leaves the car the rotor the tach and the "redline rocket"

I do however like the front A LOT. Personally, i say the front stays as is...and the back should just have redline rocket w/no pictures. Or vice versa w/Redline Rocket on the front and RENESIS on the back.

 

I'm still not sure if I like the font either... it's NFS font, a little TOO ricey I'm gonna keep messin' around until I like it.

LOL, thanks ;P My first time painting an asian, she needs a little work. I'm actually leaning towards putting a hot asian girl's face on my Mechanic girl. Quick, someone find me a pic of the hottest asian girl's face
