Rx8 T-shirt idea

Hey everybody, I've been working on a t-shirt idea and thought I'd post it up for some feedback. It's still a work in progress, but if people are interested and I can get enough pre-orders I may get them printed up and take them to the DGRR. Let me know what you like or don't like, thanks!

It needs to be less HotRodder-ish and more import looking,
Both the fonts are very classic double T diner-esque and of course I think there should be a Japanese girl instead of an American, |

Hmm i dont like the Hod rod look . reminds me of the Chevy, ford tshirst that you buy from autozone. i think it should be more anime style with a anime hot looking chick. but that is what i would do for a tshirt.
and 2nd idea would be more of a simple style . like draw a out lines of a rotary with just the outlines of a rx type of car. sorta like what mazda does when they tease us with their concept drawings. but dotn want to show us to much of what the car will like. but in your case, you would draw the whole car with just out lines with no color. so example would be a white t shirt will have black outlines of the car and rotary etc. |

I think I might try moving the main art to the back and put a cool sketchy rotor thingy on the front... or make 2 shirt designs... this all depends on how many people might actually buy because I have print quite a few to make it work the setup charges.

Rotary engine in the back ground for the gear heads - dynamic pose done by the rx8 for the enthusiast - and random hot greased up chick for the leg humpers - I DEFINATELY LIKE THE CONCEPT! :bigok: Some things i'd like to see tho: (as stated before) Hot asian chick, Different color tone(IMO, a lighter shade of grey and blue would look nice), Remove the "Rotary Power" at the top of the shirt and replace it with the "Redline Rocket". I'm actually in the market for some car related shirts so I'm sure whatever the final result will be i'll more than likely be interested in buying it :D: |
Anime girl in a school girl outfit and it should be a winner. And change the font.

if i was to make one with MS paint and wear it lol. this is what i would wear lol. but if i was to draw it with a pencil, my font would be more graffi style (but not to outlandish)

Very domestic automaker-y. +1 on the anime theme or simple shirt. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go order a latte. Edit: The effort is much appreciated. I would in all likelihood purchase some sort of RX-8 attire. |

1. Definitely putting a hot Asian in there, I'll either re-paint the face or maybe Konig and his girl will donate a hi-res reference to paint a new model :D: 2. I'll work on some typestyles, and probably just use Redline Rocket at the top... I like that better too :) 3. I'll play with color story a little too. The reasoning behind the current colors is that I didn't want it to represent any one color... kind of a universal color. That's also why I didn't do any body kit or aftermarket wheels because I wanted it to be as universal as possible without being boring. Keep suggestions coming, I'm getting ideas :) |
