Retreads SUCK

So many roads to ride...
I think we're looking at a bit of damage from a big-rig tire re-tread. The pics are terrible, but they were probably taken from a camera phone alongside the highway after pulling over to inspect the damage. I tend to avoid hitting obstacles in the roadway as often as I can...but then again sh*t happens.

Same exact thing happend to me!!!!
I was driving on a two lane road and a re-tread came out from nowere and hit my RX-8, the entire damage is about to cost me $500

yea, those things are all over here, you just have to pay attention and avoid driving over them, it says you are 51% at fault, and i also agree that you are more at fault then the big rig, it happens all the time, it would be like if a dog ran out in the road, and you were changing cds and ran it over and hurt your car, it wouldnt be the owner of the dogs fault, it would be yours for running it over.
