I only use FireFox and it works fine for me.
What doesn't work on your end?
The plugin...I didnt really mess with it tho as the auto-installer failed and I was feeling lazy...

You hate Adobe but you use MS Windows? Which of those is more evil?

Adobe makes a fairly decent product.
