Interesting...need to get rid of a few kids to have that kinda time.

Were the side seals as carboned up as they looked??

nice vid Jeff! Haha did todd just stand in the same place the whole time?

Wish I coulda been there, but seems like you had it down pat. I see the coming soon: Reassembly vid, I wana be there for that. Just don't do it on a night I have to work! Sundays are best for me.

Anyways, nice editing skillz there. Like the music. Good job as always

Only on the blown rotors. The one that looks super carboned is actually a pic from the first motor's #2 chamber that was run hard for 40 miles or so after it was blown.

For sale: 12YO Female...high maintenance....likes clothes and shoes
15YO Male low maintenance...will eat you out of house and home.
17YO Male eats and sleeps a LOT....doesn't want to do anything much
20YO Male almost toilet trained. Working and blowing all the money on his GTR

Any offers gladly accepted...will rent for food and lodging. Will loan out for training if returned in better than stock condition

Man! After your wife pushed out one perfectly good boy, you should have kept it in your pants! Now look at all the work you have to do!
At least you have your own pit crew.
Teach the daughter to drive and you could have quite a marketing juggernaut on your hands in 5 years.

Quick question . I have to replace my front seal . Looks to me like I need to take the front cover off to get it out . Is that right ?

The shop manual says yes, But you could probably do it without removing the front cover.

Best bet is to pull the pulley and see if you can remove the bearing without taking the cover off.
If you can pull the old one, installing a new one should be no problem.

No. That took two people and was pretty unflattering as it required the larger of the two of us to straddle the motor like a pony. It was a private moment...

Yeah, he had to put down the camera and lean into it a bit.

On the reassembly video, I'll get "stand-ins".
