Shawrf1,

Very very nice. I'm not a fan of graphics but your's even looks awesome with the graphics on it. And those rims are a vast improvement. Very tight.

The thing with wings is that they are derived from those used in professional race cars which have a bit of r&d and engineering history behind them. On the track they have a functional purpose in terms of aerodynamics and stability, albeit only evident at speeds in excess of 120mph. In addition to that functionality, the side plates serve as "advertising space" for sponsors. In terms of aftermarket wings for street cars and show cars, it's all about getting the "look" of those million-dollar professional race cars, whether or not the car will ever touch a real race track...

Looks perfect for the race track. A bit overkill for the street.

Wayne: Congrats on the new show! Looks like you've got a busy year ahead of you. Korea isn't too bad - i'm getting separation anxiety from my daughter, but all is well. Sold the WRX... I don't know the owner/kid too well, so I can't comment.

cortc: the TE-37's are F: 19x8.5 +43 and R: 19x9.5 +34. Still getting info on the Ro_Ja Formula 2's.

Lightemup: just caught your post... I'm serving a 1-year tour in Yongsan/Seoul, originally from CA.

Since you took time out of your day to post your flamboyant question, I'll try my best to answer. Your opinion of the wing is subjective. You don't like it, others do, there's nothing you nor I can do to change opinions. If you accept that, we're halfway there and I'll sleep better tonight.

On a whole, I'm not a fan of gargantuan wings. However, having seen the aggressive Veilside kit added to all sides of the car, I feel (feelings are subjective, see?) the wing gives aesthetic balance to the rear of the car, more so than a bare trunk would. This, combined with the fact that Veilside provided the parts gratis and that I'm 100% behind their great products, makes it a no-brainer on the wing.

Rob

DAMN that is one sweeeet RX8. Hope I can do that to mine but since i live in alaska it's not worth it. I love the wing! who and how much for the wing? I like the hood but I gotta go with carbon fiber. once again great looking ride.

looks hot...

but i feel that at the front, the nose drops down too much, and makes the car look like it's got a huge nose, something you'd see on a halloween witch. kinda gives it a bad ***/freaky/don't mess with me or i'll turn you into a cat kind of look...
