Project RX-8: Veilside/GReddy
is the hood part of the kit? the rims are pretty cool but the color doesnt go with me. But thats just me. The wing is alright but it is to big. How do you expect to see the back of your car? I wanna see what the rear kit looks more like. please post more pics
shawn, you have made me one jealous bastard.
clean ride......you've done everything to the car that i dream of getting done eventually.
when is the veilside d1gp kit going to available to the public? veilside has been saying it will be released in april, but i know you always get your hands on parts earlier than most others.

Great Job
Not only is it great looking but it is also an original, No one else has one like it. Dont player hate! He is my rendition and I also have a vielside front spoiler on order. The other set, not with the wide opening
Hey Rob, looks great. For those not in the know, the GT wing is pretty common in Japan. It's big, but how silly would it look with an aggressive front end, and a tiny wing? Gotta go with the flow of the car right?
By using the kit you are losing weight, not adding weight. A FRP bumper is about 10lbs. The factory bumper is around 20-30lbs.
This is Ray Btw...see you at IAS. Look for my project FD drift car in the main lobby.

i am not a fan of flashy kits and big wings....but i think the kit doesnt look too bad...
as for the wing, too big, but at least it is a RWD car....better than seeing every civic in town with a spoiler like that on it!
i am sure a lot of effort is going into that car and i hope you do well at shows all over the country....way to represent the 8 community!!

Hey, Ray! You know we can't leave the engine stock for long! :D I'll be looking for pics of your FD while I'm overseas... The RX-8 group is a tough crowd... seems to be an older, more cynical demographic than we're used to!

I am not a fan of the wing either, especially by itself on a stock car. It looks completely out of place. At least with the Veilside kit it does have the ability to balance itself out and blend in much better where on that black stock one it just sticks out like a sore thumb.
I should mention phrases like "Don't player hate" make less sense to me than the wing. I did not know I was playing a game. I hope I am winning. What do I get if I win?
The two kits that appeal to me most are the Mazdaspeed and the Ings. The Autoexe I find to be pretty tasteful as well.
