Preparing for the morning drive in snow

The same process every year . . . Put 'em on at night just in case. If it comes, just drop and go. If its bare, pull em off, drop and go. Nothing worse than trying to get cables on this bitch along the side of a hill or in the parking lot after a day of snow fall.

Do you run all seasons or dedicated winter tires?

I run dedicated winters and dont have any problems with inclines up or down. It's the slush that is the killer.

I run P Zero Neros all year. In my area snow removal is non existant and hills are plentiful. I have been doing the cable thing for 5 years. Better safe than stuck!

Uh. . .no. ( I've given my left nut for for the taxes here in the seattle area for roads and gas) And my car doesn't appreciate them either. But when it's the car you drive you make the sacrifices. When the season is over I lift it and retighten all of the various nuts and screws that the cable vibration shook loose. Fortunately I only need to "cable up" a couple times a year. Hoping this is the last time this season.

lolol i was actually surprised they let us wrap chains here in CT. In MA they would come after you with rifles and dogs the last time I checked.
