Key to getting a good pic is to take lots of them. Example for the back lit shots would be (on a good tripod) to go into full manual mode, fix the shutter speed, then do a series stepping the f/stop through its range. Wait 15 minutes for the sunlight to change, then repeat.
Some shots will over/under expose the background, some will over/under expose the car, and some will over/under expose the foreground. Choose what looks best for each of the three, then blend them into one shot in post.
The great still photogs of the past had large amounts of patience that seems in short supply in the digital age.

Effective, gorgeous, and expensive. I bought one from TeamRX8.

HiFlite That is what I did. shot in manual mode then did each shot on a tripod in 3 different exposures. Under, normal, and over. I used lightroom to edit them but don't currently have photoshop so I cant merge them together for HDR. If there will be less noise in the photo by merging the photos then I can do that.

The stupid parking lot wall is destroying the shot.
You can take a picture of the skyline the way you want without the car, then take a pic of the car, then stitch them together on the pc.
start using these
and don't wast your time doing HDR, it only looks good when done right, 99% of the time it looks like ****.
First walk around the car, and using the camera find the best view with the lest cluttered reflection and background.
Crop out all the poles.

Nice nice shots , great looking car too. I been looking to buy a camera too , this was my first choice and someone mention to me the canon t4i is auto focus and bad *** but man is like 300 bucks more my wife will flip . I was getting the t3i for the video but they say the new one is a lot better cuz of the focus and me been a rookie it will look more like a pro at it once I get the hang of it, have you tried the video yet ?

Consider buying one of these polarizing filters; polarizer filter | eBay
It will reduce the reflections and it doesn't cost too much.
