Was at Cars and Coffee this morning then headed over to Motion Lab Tuning and decided to take some pics with my first ever DSLR! A Canon T3I with the kit 18-55mm lense.

Great pics and camera. I use a Canon 60D. looks good man!
|
a couple of those have a tinge of HDR to them. Did you post process them or did the DLSR do it for you?
|
Yeah I was using lightroom, I've always been a fan of the HDR look althought these were just shot in RAW and I played with the exposures and clairty a bit.
|
Have you tried Luminance with a set of photos low/med/high shot with bracketing and a tripod (or really steady hand)?
Every once in a while I get one that turns out amazing... lotsa duds too though. |
Car looks super good man.
Next time, take the photos from an angle where there isn't so many damn reflections all over the car, its super distracting. |
that first pic is amazing mike, I'm going to come down to Charlotte with my girlfriend sometime in June i believe mind if we go downtown or to motionlab tunning and get some shots together?
by then i will have my car on coilovers and properly stanced |
Beautiful shots man! Keep them coming :)

Looks great as usual! I'd recommend you wetsand and polish the headlights whenever you get the chance to clear up the yellowing. It'll really make a dramatic difference. I know it's a racecar, but still.

Looks good as always dude!
|
Nice pics! Car looks good as always...
|
Wow, just wow. great shots.
|
What spoiler is that on your RX-8?
|
That is nice man I love your car. Gotta get that Toyo Tire Sicker back on the fender ;)
|
Wow your car is pure sex. The pics are hot too. Good work.

Your distracting! :P Seeing lightpoles, roads, you, other cars, and all that other random shit makes the photos look like poo. Read up Canon Digital Photography Forums - Powered by vBulletin Attachment 226046 |

Too all you photography pro's i'm looking for some advice on these. The other sets of shoots I did the car came out in focus, crisp, and clear. Both time it was overcast out so I had a nice soft light. Shooting towards the sun was a bit difficult. Capturing the sunset as well as getting the car nice and clear is what I struggled with. So next time what should I do to bring the car's details out more, but retain the cityscape?
